Procurement Director / Specialist

We are looking for a procurement specialist / director to join our friendly team at Devonport 7 Day Pharmacy, key responsibilities and requirements are listed below.

• Strong operations skills and excellent financial skills.
• At least 4 years experience working in a health related industry.
• Minimum 10 years as procurement manager.
• Strong communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process for assigned procurement projects
• Deliver high quality procurement documentation (Procurement Plan, RFX documentation and Recommendation reports)
• Deliver comprehensive, timely and accurate procurement advice and guidance on procurement tendering processes, contract renewals and variations between our pharmacy and sister groups.
• Actively contribute to initiatives designed to develop and improve procurement procedures, processes and the wider procurement functions within our stores.
• Good business acumen and understanding of common business and commercial management practices.
• The desire and ability to build strong and trusted working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.

The appointing base salary for this role is starting at $90,000 to $100,000 per annum. Succesful applicants will be based on skills, experience.
